Section 1
Our Commitment
KareerKomet is committed to making our hiring platform accessible to everyone — including people with disabilities. We believe that access to employment opportunities should not be limited by the technology used to find them. That commitment extends to the design of our platform, the tools we use, and the support we offer to users who need assistance.
We are actively working to ensure that kareerkomet.com conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control software, and other assistive technologies.
Section 2
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we work to:
- Include accessibility considerations in our design and development process from the start, not as an afterthought
- Use semantic HTML markup that supports screen readers and assistive technologies
- Ensure that all form fields have descriptive labels and error messages that are communicated clearly to assistive technologies
- Maintain sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the platform (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Ensure interactive elements are operable via keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse
- Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Avoid content that flashes or flickers in ways known to cause seizures
- Ensure that page content is readable and functional when text is resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Use clear, plain language in our content to support cognitive accessibility
Section 3
Current Conformance Status
KareerKomet is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known issues and improve conformance across the Platform.
Section 4
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
- Third-party content: Some embedded third-party tools (including payment processing interfaces provided by Stripe) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We have limited control over the accessibility of third-party components but encourage providers to improve their own accessibility.
- PDF uploads: Resumes and documents uploaded by users may not be accessible. We encourage users to use accessible document formats where possible.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier not listed here, please let us know using the contact information in Section 6.
Section 5
