Training Table is a restaurant consulting company based in Angola, Indiana, helping restaurants, food trucks, cafés, and hospitality businesses grow through expert consulting, staff training, operational development, and marketing support.

We’re looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager to help elevate both our brand and our clients’ online presence. This role focuses on creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and supporting marketing initiatives that help restaurants connect with their communities.

The ideal candidate understands current social media trends, enjoys storytelling through photos and video, and can balance creativity with strategy.

What you'll do

Develop and execute social media content calendars across multiple platforms.
Create engaging graphics, photos, short-form videos, and written content.
Manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social media accounts.
Monitor comments and messages while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Coordinate with restaurant owners and consultants to showcase client success stories.
Photograph food, restaurants, events, and behind-the-scenes content when needed.
Track engagement metrics and provide monthly performance reports.
Stay current with emerging social media trends and platform updates.
Assist with email marketing campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with the consulting team on promotional campaigns, events, and new service launches.

What you'll need

Required

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience managing business social media accounts or creating digital content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Experience using Canva or similar graphic design software.
Basic photography and video editing skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional client visits.

Preferred (not required)

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience working in the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media analytics tools.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar creative software.
Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
Experience managing paid social media advertising campaigns.
Basic website content management experience (WordPress or similar CMS).
